Events & Gatherings

Where Baptist women across West Africa come together to pray, worship, learn, and advance God's Kingdom.

The BWUWA Biennial Conference

Held every two years on a rotational basis among member nations, the BWUWA Biennial Conference is the heartbeat of our sub-regional fellowship.

World Day of Prayer & Africa Day of Prayer

Uniting Baptist women across the globe in sacred intercession for nations, communities, and the Body of Christ.

World Day of Prayer

BWUWA women join Baptist sisters from every continent in an annual day of global intercession. The World Day of Prayer connects us to a worldwide fellowship of women standing in the gap for humanity.

Prayer calendars are distributed in advance, guiding participants through focused prayer for nations, peoples, and specific needs of the global Church.

Africa Day of Prayer

The Africa Day of Prayer is a powerful expression of continental solidarity as Baptist women across Africa lift up a unified voice of intercession for the challenges and opportunities facing the African Church and continent.

BWUWA member nations observe this day with special prayer services, fasting, and community intercession, believing that prayer is the foundation of all effective ministry.
